I love music of all kinds and have a strong belief that everyone should experience the joy and power of it in his or her life. It is very rewarding for me to help students develop their skills as they discover a meaningful way of self-expression using a universal language. Teaching music is something I love to do and I know that fact reflects to my students resulting in an enjoyable experience for them as well.  I believe each and every student benefits from music lessons for many reasons.  Music is not for the “gifted,” it is for everyone.  No amount of music study is ever wasted because the skills and knowledge taught in music lessons are transferable to other facets of life such as reading, math, concentration, discipline, emotional expression, appreciation of beauty and cultures.  A good music teacher develops his/her students’ self-confidence and stretches them to do things and experience things they would otherwise miss out on in life.
